THE $21 MILLION PROJECT WILL NOT HAVE A FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT OR FUNCTION ROOMS BUT IS EXPECTED TO GENERATE $200,000 IN PROPERTY TAXES ANNUALLY AND UP TO ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS IN LOCAL HOTEL TAX REVENUES AND EMPLOY UP TO 35 PEOPLE.
MEANWHILE, A GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY WAS HELD IN CONCORD FOR THE NEW RESIDENCE INN BY MARRIOTT THAT IS DUE TO BE COMPLETED BY NEXT SUMMER. IN RESTAURANT NEWS, TACO BELL IS POISED TO RETURN TO MARLBORO AFTER A LONG HIATUS. THE MEXICAN FAST FOOD FRANCHISE PLANS TO OPEN ON THE BOSTON POST ROAD IN A THREE THOUSAND SIXTY-ONE SQUARE-FOOT SITE ONCE OCCUPIED BY A WENDYS.
THE RESTAURANT IS EXPECTED TO SEAT ABOUT 70 PEOPLE AND WILL BE OPEN FROM 7 A.M. TO 2 A.M. THEY EXPECT TO EMPLOY FORTY TO SIXTY WORKERS.

CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE SHOPPERS WORLD AREA IN FRAMINGHAM. LONG TIME LOCAL FAVORITE PAPA RAZZI RESTAURANTS ARE BEING RENAMED. THE NEW NAME WILL BE PAPA RAZZI METRO. ONE BY ONE THE LOCATIONS ARE UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS CHAIN WIDE AFTER BEING PURCHASED BY THE NEWPORT RESTAURANT GROUP. THE PLAN IS TO APPEAL TO A BROADER AUDIENCE WITH UPDATED DESIGN AND MENUS. NEW OFFERINGS MADE IN HOUSE WILL INCLUDE FRESH PASTA AND BREAD MADE PLUS ITALIAN SODAS AND LIMONCELLO. THERE WILL ALSO BE A SALUMI AND CHEESE BAR. THE WELLESLEY LOCATION WILL BE THE NEXT RENOVATION HOPEFULLY WITH FRAMINGHAM NOT TOO FAR BEHIND.
NEARBY, BRE DDR SHOPPERS WORLD LLC PROPOSES TO BUILD AN ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX THAT INCLUDES AN UPSCALE KINGS BOWLING ALLEY, AN INDOOR SKYDIVING FACILITY AND A RESTAURANT.
THE 12.8-ACRE SITE IS ON FLUTIE PASS BETWEEN SHOPPERS WORLD AND THE NATICK MALL, ACROSS FROM THE AMC MOVIE THEATRE.
