MARATHON, AN AFFILIATE OF INTERNATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPANY SAGE STONE, HOPES TO DEVELOP THIRTEEN ACRES OF LAND THAT WAS ONCE OWNED BY WESTON NURSERIES OFF OF EAST MAIN STREET. PLANNING BOARD CHAIRMAN, KEN WEISMANTEL, SAID THE COMPANYS PLAN TO INSTALL LANDSCAPING AND BUFFER ZONES WILL HELP SHIELD THE PANELS FROM VIEW.

THE METROWEST VISITORS BUREAUS SECOND ANNUAL METROFEST IS COMING UP SEPTEMBER 26TH FROM ELEVEN TO FIVE PM AT BOWDITCH ATHLETIC COMPLEX IN FRAMINGHAM. THE FAMILY FRIENDLY FESTIVAL WILL FEATURE FOOD TRUCKS AND FUN, WITH A KIDS AREA, LIVE MUSIC, VENDORS AND BEER AND WINE TASTING.
